Clogee respects the privacy of website visitors and ensures that the (personal) information you provide to us is treated confidentially. The (personal) data is processed in a manner that complies with the requirements of the law.

PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING

Your personal data will be processed by us for the purpose of entering into and executing agreements and managing the resulting relationships. For the processing of data entered via forms, we use GravityForms in WordPress or Mailchimp. Data requested via forms on our website is necessary for the aforementioned reasons. If the personal data is not provided, we will not be able to contact you or, in the case of a newsletter subscription, inform you about our services and activities.

When you fill in a contact/quote, job application, or newsletter form on the website, or send us an email, the data you send us will be stored for as long as is necessary for the full answering and processing of the form or the content of your email. We will observe the following retention periods:

  • Contact form (via Gravity Forms): 1 year
  • Application (via Gravity Forms): 1 year
  • Newsletter (via Mailchimp): Until the moment of unsubscribing from the newsletter.
  • Other forms: (via Gravity Forms): 1 year

SECURITY

All data you exchange with Clogee via our website is encrypted using SSL security based on the HTTPS protocol.

VISIT DATA AND GOOGLE ANALYTICS

We use Google Analytics to track general visitor data. The data is used for statistical analyses of visitor and click behaviour on the website. We also use it to optimise the website's functionality. We have also set up Google Analytics in a privacy-friendly way, so that IP addresses are anonymised and data is sent over a secure connection.

We have a data processing agreement with Google. The statistical data is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in Europe and the United States. Please read Google's privacy policy for more information, as well as the specific privacy policy of Google Analytics. Google uses this information to track how our website is used and to provide us with reports about the website. We wish to explicitly point out that this data can never be traced back to you as a person or individual by Clogee, except in situations where you identify yourself as a person via one of the forms on the website. This could be, for example, by leaving an email address when you subscribe to the newsletter. In such cases, your browsing behaviour can be linked to the submitted data.

The data collected by Clogee will not be provided to third parties.

Hotjar

Using the Hotjar tool, we can see where visitors click on the website and how far visitors scroll down pages. This data is fully anonymised and therefore cannot be traced back to individuals.

PROFILING

Based on website behaviour, marketing lists are used to create profiles so that we can show visitors relevant advertisements on other sites based on marketing cookies. This means that as a visitor, you will see relevant advertisements, as this relates to your previous website behaviour. We hope to be able to inform you even better about our services and articles with this. This data cannot be traced back to a specific person.

Processor Agreement

We have signed a processor agreement with all companies that process our data. This agreement stipulates, among other things, for what purposes personal data may be processed and what security measures must be taken where the personal data is stored. It also states that those who process the data must handle it confidentially and may not process it on their own initiative for a completely different purpose than stated in the processor agreement.

ACCESS, CORRECTION AND RIGHT TO OBJECT

If you have a business relationship with us, you have the opportunity to view your personal data upon written request. If the overview provided by us contains inaccuracies, you can request us in writing to amend or delete the data.
